Grand Opening!!!

Other Pool News:

Water Aerobics will be starting July 2nd. The class will be held every Tuesday & Thursday at 7pm. The pool now has steps into the water for easy access. This a fun low impact way to stay cool and stay in shape this summer! Classes are $2 each or punch card of 8 for $14.

Friday Family Fun Night!
Every Friday night bring your whole family out to the pool for the discounted cost of $2 a family member and no more than $1o a family.

Swimming Lessons
$25 per child. Session 1 starts July 13-17 either 10am or 11am. Session 2 starts Aug 3-7 either 10am or 11am. Call or stop by the pool for more information and to sign up. Only 8 kids per level so sign up soon to hold your preferred spot!

Final Prep

Alot has happend in the last couple months to get the pool ready to open up. A new deck was poured, the baby pool refinished, and Mid American Pool installed a new surface guaranteed for 25 years! Thank You to all the volunteers that have made this a success.

Volunteers Needed

The Grant City Swimming Pool is projected to open early June but not with out your help!

Many volunteers are still needed for the decking/fencing part of the pool. All ages are welcome to come out and give a hand there will be plenty to do for everyone.

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm & Every Saturday at 8am

This Saturday May 16th we would like to pour some of the decking we need confirmed volunteers before we order the cement trucks. Please contact Dick Van Vactor 564-3585 or City Hall if you can help.

Renovation Continues

The City of Grant City has hired a contractor to install the fiberglass liner. Part of their prep work has been installing tile around the poool.

Firemans Ball March 27th

The firemans balls held March 27th was a 'blazin' success. The smoked porked dinner by Worth Smokin' BBQ was delicious and the music provided by Fletch Co Karaoke put everyone in a good mood to relax and have a good time. I am still awaiting the final donations brought in but I believe it was around $1200.

Pasta Bar a Success

Thank You to everyone that came out and supported the all you can eat pasta bar.
We raised $1452.50, our highest fundraiser to date! Thank you!

Thank You to supplies donated from Grant City Hy-Vee, Graves Distributing, Grant City Community Betterment, Worth County School for the use of their facilities, and Shelly Straight for all the help she gave to cook the dinner.
